Surrogacy Guide Colombia

About this site

An independent guide and directory for U.S. parents who are researching surrogacy.

Who publishes it

Napoleón Contreras, who sells SEO positioning services. He is based in Costa Rica and is not a lawyer, doctor or surrogacy provider. This site is his own project.

Dilce Yamilet Peñuela, an attorney in Colombia, is the legal reviewer for the Colombian-law content of this site. A page shows a "legally reviewed" label only after she has confirmed it, with the date. Until a page shows that label, it has not been reviewed by her. Her review does not cover U.S. law, such as citizenship and passports, and it does not make this site legal advice. Reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship with her.

Medical review

The medical content of this site is reviewed by Dr. Norge Miranda Casas, a physician from Colombia. A page is marked as medically reviewed only after he confirms it.

Why it exists

Information about surrogacy in Colombia is mostly published by the companies that sell it. We collect sources, show where each claim comes from and say what we could not confirm.

How it is funded

Today, no provider is listed and no one pays us. Clinics and agencies we list will pay the same flat monthly subscription after a free first week. It does not depend on inquiries or results. See for providers.

What we do not do

  • We do not arrange surrogacies or recruit surrogates.
  • We do not give legal or medical advice.
  • We do not charge per baby, per birth or per result.
